Alexandra Park Junior School’s SEND
Hello and welcome to Alexandra Park Junior School’s SEND zone. Here at Alexandra Park we aim to ensure that EVERY child achieves to their fullest potential.
Miss Varley is our SENCO and leads the Pastoral Team in school. The pastoral team includes Miss Thompson, Mr Clarke, Miss Yasmin and Miss Corry.
Miss Varley liaises with pupils, parents, teachers and external agencies to ensure that our children’s additional needs are met.
For more information regarding SEND at our school please contact Miss Varley on 0161 770 8321 or firstname.lastname@example.org
If a parent has a concern or complaint regarding Special Needs, they are encouraged in the first instance to meet with the SENCo. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily the Headteacher should be notified.
If the concern is not resolved, parents have the right to ask for an examination of the complaint by the Governing Body.
