Hello and welcome to Alexandra Park Junior School’s SEND zone.

Here at Alexandra Park Junior School, we aim to ensure that EVERY child achieves to their fullest potential.

Miss Varley is our SENCO and leads the Pastoral Team in school.  The pastoral team includes Miss Thompson, Miss Yasmin and Miss Booth. Miss Varley liaises with pupils, parents, teachers and external agencies to ensure that our children’s additional needs are met.

Supporting Pupils with Medical Conditions

If a parent has a concern or complaint regarding Special Needs, they are encouraged in the first instance to meet with the SENCo. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily the Headteacher should be notified.

If you feel the concern is not resolved, please refer to the trust’s complaints policy.

The Family Information Service (FIS) provides free, impartial, up-to-date information to support parents / carers with children and young people aged 0-20 years and prospective parents.
